Copyright Notice
I really hate to have to put this here, but the recent problems I have had with my images of beads appearing on other websites without my permission has forced my hand.
All images on this website and in my auctions (beads, jewelry, and website graphics), except for the link trade graphics, are copyrighted by me. That means you must obtain permission from me personally before copying them and putting them on websites, printing them out to take to classes to be copied or used as a learning tool, etc. This includes but is not limited to using them as backgrounds on your websites, using them to draw customers to your bead sites, inferring that they are your work in any way, etc. This also includes printing the images for use in classes or in your own beadmaking studio.
I usually will give permission when asked to use my images for aesthetic purposes, and sometimes even as a learning tool. But please ask first! I have had problems lately with my bead images and website graphics appearing without credit on MySpace, on bead import sites, on other beadmaker's sites, in blogs and forums, at beginner beadmaking classes, etc. If credit is given to me, I usually don't mind, but I prefer to be asked first.
The reason for this is that customers and potential customers can get confused. Also, the images are copyrighted by me, so it's illegal to take them without permission.
I am slowly putting little copyright notices on each image, and I wish I didn't have to, but it's taking awhile. So I ask for your indulgence here. Please ask before taking any graphic you see here, with the exception of the link trade images.
